Shire Shire Fire Candles produces handmade and hand poured 100% soy wax candles, in scents and colors inspired by the Berkshires of Western, Massachusetts.  The company was created in 2017 by siblings Grace Proskin ( age 11), and Isabella Brown ( age 10).  While on a family trip to Western Ireland, the kids and their family visited many small crafters, including a handmade candle company.  They returned to their home in the Berkshires inspired to open a business of their own.  Their entrepreneurial vision for creating a candle company similar to that of the one they visited in Ireland, was brought to life with creative input as well a financial boost from their family and friends.  In August of 2017, Shire Fire Candle Company officially opened its doors in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.  The girls look forward to growing their product offering, and as the seasons change in Western Massachusetts, new scents and colors will be added to the catalog.
